Woman discovers knife in her back

A woman reported finding a knife in her back recently but told police she had no idea she had been stabbed. The woman called police around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the 400 block of West Sprague after she discovered the blade sticking out of her back, according to police spokeswoman Monique Cotton. The woman said the stabbing may have occurred while she was walking on Second Avenue between Post Street and Wall Street. The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie at the time. Police have released a photo of a possible suspect and are looking for the public’s help in identifying the person. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
