Obituary: Muto, Mary (O’Grady) “Eileen”

MUTO, Mary (O’Grady) “Eileen” (Age 90) Was born in Pasco, WA, in 1924.

She moved to Spokane in 1933 and attended Spokane Community College.

Eileen married Louis Muto in Coeur d’Alene in 1941.

She was a waitress at Jack Louie and a bartender Cathay Inn.

She enjoyed crochet, doll making, reading, National Geographic, and Ella Fitzgerald music.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents William O’Grady and Kathleen Hurley, husband Louis Muto, sister Rose Pagel, and daughter Susan Bertucci.

Survivors include sons Steve (Kadra), Daniel (Darlene) and John Muto, daughter Mary Eileen Edison, 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory at 2203 N. Division on Wednesday, February 11, 4-7pm.

Funeral Services will be held the following day at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 11am.

A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus, Spokane.
