Eclectic ensemble: Curlew Elementary and High School students react as the Portland Cello Project performs for them on Wednesday at the school in Curlew, Wash. The group was in town for a show at Republic Brewing Co. Tuesday night. Since 2007, the group has built a reputation mixing genres and blurring musical lines and perceptions wherever they go. Among the group’s set list for Wednesday’s school performance was a number by legendary heavy metal group Pantera and Taylor Swift’s hit “Shake It Off.” The group will play at The Bartlett in Spokane on Friday and Saturday.
