Pepperdine, the only one of Gonzaga’s 13 WCC opponents to lose by less than seven points in their previous meeting, visits McCarthey Athletic Center tonight at 5 p.m.

No. 3 Gonzaga (25-1, 13-0) edged the Waves 78-76 last month in Malibu. Pepperdine (15-10, 8-6) slipped into fourth place after falling to Portland 69-52 on Thursday and San Diego 72-50 last Saturday.

“They gave us a heck of a game; it was a one-possession game,” Gonzaga coach Mark Few said. “They have a great player in Stacy Davis, Jett Raines is playing well and the point guard (Jeremy Major) is really solid.”

Gonzaga has won 18 straight games and a nation-leading 39 consecutive home games.
