Obituary: Riddle, Eveline
She was born in 1932 in Nurnberg, Germany.
Life was very difficult during the war years living in an area so heavily damaged.
She discovered early in life the pain of family loss.
From those experiences, she understood the importance of family and the appreciation for the simplest things in life.
While working in a photo studio, she caught the eye of a handsome customer.
Apparently the feeling was mutual as they married after a short courtship.
They had little money on the day they married, but Dad vowed to take care of her so that she could be a stay a home mom.
A little over a year later they welcomed their first child.
Four more followed in the next eleven years.
She was never shy to tell us how proud she was of us….and naturally we concur.
We all went on to have families of our own and took those lessons learned: the importance of family and to appreciate the simple things in life.
Dad preceded her in death in 2011.
Now it was our turn to watch over Mom.
We always exchanged “I love you” whether visiting or calling one another with the latest family news.
Mom you will be missed more than you could have imagined.
Your memories will carry us through until we see one another again!
She leaves behind her family of loved ones: Eveline, Jim (Cheryl and family), Linda (Brad), John (son James), David (Diane), Amber (Devin and family).
“Mutti werden sie nicht mehr als Sie gedacht haben.
Die Erinnerungen werden uns durch, bis wir sehen uns wieder!”
