Lenten Fish Fry - Hosted by the Knights of Columbus. The meal of baked or fried fish, french fries or baked potato, clam chowder of soup of the week bread bowls, cole slaw, rolls and garlic bread will be served from 5:30-6:45 p.m. every Friday in Lent. The Stations of the Cross follows at 7 p.m. The church will also be collecting donations of diapers, baby clothes and other items for the Catholic Charities Childbirth and Parenting Assistance program. Sravasti Abbey Buddhist Monastery Benefit - The Unitarian Universal Church of Spokane will host a fundraiser to provide for the medical needs of the monastics. The night will begin with a Thai dinner followed by a free showing of “Blessings,” a documentary about the nuns of Nangchen Nunnery in Tibet. Soup Supper & Devotion – Wednesday evenings during Lent. The devotions presented by the Rev. Barbara Caviezel are based on the book by Rob Fuquay called “The God We Can Know: Exploring the ‘I Am’ Sayings of Jesus.” After the soup supper, age-appropriate activities will be offered for children and teen in kindergarden through 12th grade.
