U.S. Highway 95 into Sandpoint now open

Multiple crashes reported around region

State police have been responding to multiple crashes around the region, including one on the Long Bridge, which crosses Lake Pend Oreille and is the primary route on U.S. Highway 95 into Sandpoint. The Washington State Patrol also is reporting multiple crashes in Spokane County this afternoon. Highway 95 has been reopened after a crash closed it early this afternoon, the Idaho State Police reported. The WSP is reporting crashes on Interstate 90, Highway 195 and Highway 395.
