Age 98
She was born in Big Timber, Montana on May 18, 1916 to Sarah Whitfield Fallang and Oscar A. Fallang.
She was a legal secretary and court reporter in Montana.
She was a homemaker who spent many hours doing volunteer work for her church, visiting in nursing homes, school service and PTA offices, den mother and scouting programs.
She loved her country.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, William Sheldon.
She is survived by two sons, Leigh Sheldon of Spokane, and David (Shari) Sheldon of Browns Pt., WA; granddaughter Kelsey (Brian Duchin) Sheldon of Browns Pt., WA; sister-in-law Shirley Sheldon Hovda, and nephews in Montana, New York, and Washington.
Services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2pm at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N Monroe St. Spokane, WA.
