Police seek public help to identify carjacking suspect

Spokane police are asking for public help to identify a woman who took a car at gunpoint after the victims gave her a ride. Police responded to a robbery call on the night of Dec. 11 around North Nevada Street and St. Thomas More Way. The victims told police that a woman asked them for a ride while they were pumping gas. When they pulled over to let her out, she pointed a gun at them and told them to get out of the car. Police were able to recover the unoccupied car several hours later. The suspect is described as a white woman, about 30 years old and approximately 5‘4” with medium brown hair. Anyone with information on her identity is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
