Obituary: Burkhart, Dennis

BURKHART, Dennis 12/13/1953 - 4/8/2015 Dennis was a Crew Chief for a B52.

His plane had the first ALCM cruise missile.

His plane had 107 continuous on time take offs and landings in a row without delay (still a record).

Dennis was a friend to many people.

He had a big heart and would help whoever asked.

His honesty and good judgment was never questioned.

We all have been blessed to have Dennis in our lives.

He worked hard, loved his friends, and was an example to all of us.

Let me tell you more about Dennis…his legacy lives on in everything he touched and everyone he knew.

Was there anything that Dennis couldn’t do to this day?

I don’t believe there was.

He rebuilt motorcycles, airplanes, boats, guns, cars and tractors.

He was great marksman, fisherman, welder, house sitter, and a carpenter.

He touched many lives!

He is survived by his twin brother, Dan Burkhart, his many nieces and nephews, and all of his friends.

Please come celebrate the life of Dennis with us Friday, July 10, 2015 at 3:00pm.

The ceremony will be held at the Medical Lake Veterans Cemetery.
