She died on April 30, 2015 in Tigard, OR.
Hazel was the daughter of James A. and Grace B. Casper.
She attended school in Lewistown, Montana and Spokane, Washington.
Hazel worked as a legal secretary in Montana and Alaska.
She married Edward E. Carlson in 1953 in Billings, Montana.
They were married for 55 years until Edward died in 2009.
Hazel worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad in Spokane, WA.
Later she worked many years in direct sales and retired in 2002 after 16 years as a realtor with Century 21, in Beaverton, Oregon.
Hazel is survived by her two children, Denise Carlson Hall (David G.), of St., Louis, MO., and C. David Carlson (Jeanine K.) of Tigard, OR.
She is also survived by a niece, DeDe Paschal, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Disposition is by cremation.
A Celebration of Hazel’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 1:00-4:00pm, at the Summerfield Clubhouse in Tigard, Oregon.
