Obituary: Stone, Robert “Bob”

Age 79

STONE, Robert “Bob” Passed away peacefully at his home with his family surrounding him on June 29, 2015.

He was born June 20, 1936 in Klamath Falls, OR to Shorty and Wanda Stone.

The family settled in the Tonasket area where he grew up.

Bob is survived by his wife Sheron, four children, Holly Bye, Wendy Stone, Patrick Stone and Casey Stone, and three step-children Jeanie Bell, Randy Bell and Cindy Cooper along with 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Sylvia Stone.

He was a member of New Hope Christian Center.

Bob was a former Davenport Lions Club member, participated in Full Gospel Businessmen’s Ministry, and Prison Ministry in Airway Heights and Lincoln County.

Bob belonged to both a morning and afternoon coffee group.

Bob enjoyed horseshoes, bowling, and golfing.

He was an avid Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners and local sports fan.

Bob and Sheron did do some traveling but Bob loved being at “Bob’s Barber Shop” which he owned and operated for 47 yrs.

Memorial service for Bob will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Harvest Celebration Church, Davenport, WA with Pastor Lee Hunt, officiating.
