Obituary: Erickson, Robert H. “Bob”
Age 84
He was born on October 19, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN, one of three boys including Walter and Harold Erickson to Henning Erickson and May Nelson.
Bob joined the United States Air Force in 1951.
He then married Nancy Erickson and spent 51 wonderful years together.
They had two children Michael and Kathleen.
He retired from the Air Force in 1971 and then went to work for the U.S.
Postal Service were he retired after 20 years.
Bob then met Kay Morroe and had nine years together.
He loved to go camping, fishing, touring with the Goldwings, snowmobiling and gardening.
Bob is survived by his daughter Kathy (Rod) of Spokane; sister-in-law Maria Cox; daughter-in-law Gail Erickson; grandchildren Sean (Amanda), Katrina, Michelle, Nathan (Theresa), Matthew (Tajanna), Travis Erickson, Anthony Erickson; great-grandchildren Alexis Clark, Akira Clark, Abby Erickson, Brady Erickson; and companion Kay Morroe.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Erickson of 51 years and son Michael R. Erickson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
