Eastern Washington

Artisans at Dahmen Barn “Awash in Color,” local scenes in watercolor and oil by John Kirkland, during July. Also, bird-themed art and craft by the Dahmen Barn resident artisans. Jundt Art Museum, Gonzaga University Outdoor exhibition of 13 sculptures by the late David Hayes, displayed on the grounds of the Jundt Art Museum, near Lake Arthur, and along a small section of the Centennial Trail and the Spokane River on Gonzaga University’s campus. Art Spirit Gallery Acrylic paintings by Catherine Earle and figurative clay sculptures by Cary Weigand, through Aug. 8. Entree Gallery David Govedare’s exhibit, in collaboration with Tracy Ling, presents figures and totems featuring gems and metals. The works, called orgons, are a mixing of crushed gems and metals floating in a matrix of cast epoxy resins, and are thought to bring good vibrations and energy to their surroundings.
