1. Cavallinos in Coeur d’Alene Today-Sunday, City Park and McEuen Park, downtown Coeur d’Alene. Three-day car show featuring European models from around the Northwest. Members of the Northwest Region of the Ferrari Club of America and guests driving other exotic cars will arrive at the Coeur d’Alene Resort today for a kickoff banquet. Free Ferrari show in City Park on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. At noon, the drivers head out for a lap around Lake Coeur d’Alene. On Sunday, more than 100 cars will join the Ferraris at McEuen Park for a charity car show benefiting the Children’s Village, featuring BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Fiat, Alpha Romeo and other European cars. Fourteen People’s Choice awards will be presented to show winners. Afterward, the drivers will embark on a 6-mile parade through Coeur d’Alene streets, ending in the Riverstone development. www.cavallinos incoeurdalene.com.

South Perry Street Fair and Parade 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Grant Park and South Perry Street between Ninth and 11th avenues. 16th annual event with a Kids Festival including booths along Perry Street and in Grant Park, beer gardens, a parade at 10 a.m., dynamic Japanese drumming with Spokane Taiko at 11:30 a.m., and live music from 1:30 to 10 p.m. with Marshall McLean Band, Water Monster, Mama Doll, Dead Serious Lovers, Silver Treason and Real Life Rockaz. 3. PFHS Arts Educators Art Show continues through Aug. 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays, Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 N. William St., Post Falls. An evening of Americana, folk and music from the ’60s and ’70s featuring Richard Byford and local entertainers from Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. Singalongs and dancing for the whole family. 6. Korby Lenker and Jesse Terry 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Chateau Rive at the Flour Mill, 621 W. Mallon Ave. Korby Lenker is a Twin Falls, Idaho, native who honed his musical chops in the Bellingham folk scene before heading to Nashville. 7. Coeur d’Alene City Park Concert Series 1-4 p.m. Sunday, City Park, 415 Mullan Road, Coeur d’Alene. Music this weekend comes from Stagecoach West, playing ’50s and ’60s tunes. 8. Obon Japanese Cultural Festival 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Spokane Buddhist Temple, 927 S. Perry St. Two-day event with Japanese-Hawaiian food, Japanese art and music, and crafts for kids. The highlight of the festival is the Bon Odori Dancing at 6 p.m. each night, which are audience participation dances. Entertainment includes Taiko drummers and Japanese folk singers and musicians.
