Obituary: Moritz, Tyler Ian
Age 37
MORITZ, Tyler Ian Passed away on July 21st among family and friends after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Tyler was born October 31, 1977 in Spokane.
He graduated from University High School and then went on to receive a culinary degree from The Culinary Institute of America in New York.
Tyler is survived by his parents Brenda and Richard Moritz, sisters Haley Bloeser and Heather Hess, and girlfriend Vira Lam Danh.
Tyler was a soft-spoken soul that enjoyed good food, the Pacific Northwest, and cheering on his home teams.
He worked a majority of his life as a chef at upscale restaurants in Tucson and Seattle.
His memorial will be held at Lincoln Park in West Seattle on July 27th at 11am.
A reception will follow and is open to all that shared precious time with this remarkable young man.
