Obituary: Mathis, Mildred L. “Millie”

MATHIS, Mildred L. “Millie” (Age 94) Passed away on the evening of July 23, 2015 surrounded by her family in Spokane.

She was born January 8, 1921 at her home in Spokane to Fred and Lucille Creasy.

She joined her husband Ray in heaven.

A consummate Zags fan and bingo player Millie was a giving, determined, wonderful woman who would do absolutely anything for her family!

She is survived by daughter Karen Swanger (Larry deceased); son Jim (Linda) Mathis; granddaughter Sheryl (Mike) Terris; grandsons John (Cindy) Reed, Steve (Lorrie) Swanger, Marc Reed, Scott (Kaaryn) Swanger, Eric (Nicole) Mathis, Galen (Lacey) Mathis; plus 18 great-grandchildren and 2.5 great-great-grandchildren.

Millie was preceded in death by by husband Ray (1966), parents Fred and Lucille Creasy, daughter Linda Reed and two sisters.

Graveside Service will be at 3:00PM Monday, July 27, 2015 at Fairmount Memorial Park.

A celebration of her life to follow the services.
