She was born June 6, 1936 in Spokane, WA to Keith and May (Dorn) Picken.
Other than a brief period as a military wife in England, she lived her entire life in Spokane.
She is survived by her sister, Laurie B. Picken, of Spokane; three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, and Brian Ball.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cletus Walker; daughters, Vicki Standen and Valli Barnes; and sisters, Hazel Hattell and Leona Smolkowski.
The family thanks the staff from North Side Hospice of Spokane for their care and compassion during Dolores’ peaceful passing.
We will all miss her sass and laughter.
A Memorial will be held for family and friends on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm at Lilac Terrace, 7707 N. Wiscomb Street, Spokane.
Interment will be at a later date.
