Obituary: Osman, Lora D. (Veltri)

Age 84

OSMAN, Lora D. (Veltri) Lora passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2015.

Lora was born in Priest River, Idaho on April 23, 1931 to Theresa and Joseph Veltri.

Lora is survived by her loving husband, Lewis; her sons: Michael (wife, Theresa), Terry (wife, Carol) and David Osman and her sister, Louise.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Johnny Osman.

She married her high school sweetheart, Lewis Osman on June 19th, 1949 and they were married 65 years.

Lora lived in the Northwest until 1960 when they relocated to California.

Upon her husband’s retirement, in March 1992, they returned to Spokane, to enjoy their retirement with siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lora loved to travel; some of her favorite trips were to: Lake Havasu, Las Vegas, San Diego, Indiana, New York, Calgary, Mexico and Alaska.

Lora and Lewis celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in Hawaii with their children and grandchildren.

Lora was loved by many including nieces and nephews (too many to list).

She will be remembered for her compassion, kindness, love for her family and sense of humor.

She loved her time at the lake in Priest River and a good poker game.

Lora’s memorial service will be held June 13, 1:00 pm at Hennessey Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
