Spokane Shadow game ends in scoreless draw
LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The Spokane Shadow and South Sound Shock ended up in a scoreless draw in their Evergreen Premier League match on Saturday afternoon at Harry Lang Stadium.
The scoreless result was the first for the soccer league in its 80-game history. Tony Watters (Whitworth) was in goal for Spokane. The draw kept the Shock (5-0-2) unbeaten this season.
The Shadow (2-1-2), who have posted two straight shutouts on defense, play a league newcomer, the Olympic Force (2-5-0), in Bremerton this morning at 9:30. It’s the Shadow’s first match against Olympic.
