Obituary: Luden, V. Cliff
Age 58
Born October 26, 1956 to Virgil and Frances Luden in Spokane, he grew up in the Spokane Valley and graduated from Central Valley High School.
After graduating from Eastern Washington University, he began his career in consumer products sales, “climbing the ladder” at Colgate-Palmolive and moving to both the Seattle and San Francisco areas.
His love of math and finance led him to a subsequent 25 year career in the mortgage field and eventually operating his own “one-man-shop,” Sage Home Loans.
Cliff was devoted to his family, generous with his time and kind to all.
He was a man of many passions over the years—-cars, music, skiing, hiking, biking, sailing, kayak and sailboat building, antique tool refurbishing, giant burritos, fresh-picked berries, pizza, garlic, ice cream, red wine and good beer.
He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Shannon, son, Erik, daughter, Haley, mother, Frances, sisters, Susan Petek and Kathy Luden, brother, John (Laurie), and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial is planned for June 25.
