Obituary: Rosetti, Mario D.

Age 75

ROSETTI, Mario D. (Age 75) Passed away June 9, 2015 in Yuba City, California.

Mario was born in Butte, Montana January 19, 1940 to Mario and Elizabeth (Guizzo) Rosetti, graduating from Butte High in 1958 and serving in the US Army at Fort Ord, CA.

Mario met/married the love of his life Lois in 1961 and they were married 33 years until her passing in 1994.

Mario was a printer by trade and a lifelong business owner, opening his first business M & R Printing in Seattle in 1965 which he and Lois ran for several years.

Mario bought, ran and sold restaurants/cocktail lounges throughout Northern Idaho, eventually settling with Lois and his children Tony and Tia in Fairfield, WA, owning/operating the Fairfield Steak House from 1971-1985 and co-owning the Fairfield Chevron for several years.

He went back to his career passion of printing operating Artistic Press until his retirement.

After Lois’ death Mario moved to Yuba City, CA with his beloved dog Sam, residing there until his passing.

Mario was preceded in death by wife Lois, stepchildren Cheri and David Palm, father and mother Mario and Elizabeth Rosetti.

He is survived by his children Tony Rosetti, Liberty Lake, WA, and Tia Rosetti-Mills, Coeur d’ Alene, ID, son-in-Law Karl Mills, Newman Lake, WA; granddaughter Carlin Rosetti, Bellingham, WA; brother Jerry Rosetti, Yuba City, CA.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 22, 2015, 10:00 a.m. Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield, WA.
