Wings of Freedom Tour See vintage aircraft – a B-17, a B-24 and a P-51 Mustang – at the Spokane International Airport. Summer Celebration Grand Opening weekend for Schweitzer Mountain Resort summer operations. To celebrate, rides on the Great Escape Quad will be free all day. In the village there will be arts and crafts vendors, barbecue, Monkey Motion air jumper, climbing wall, mountain biking, geocaching, tennis, free live music and other summer amenities (weather permitting). Military Heroes A local National Guard soldier will share information about the everyday job of soldiers, including their uniforms, equipment and protective gear. Participants will also help fill care packages with notes of encouragement and appreciation for local soldiers who are currently deployed.
