Walk to Defeat ALS - Check in at 9 a.m. and walk starts at 10 a.m. The Spokane Walk to Defeat ALS, now in its 11th year, benefits the ALS Association Evergreen Chapter. It is a 3-mile walk on the Centennial Trail, next to the Spokane River. ADA accessible. Dogs, on a leash, are welcome. Bike MS: Cycle the Silver Valley - Beginning at Silver Mountain Lodge in Kellogg, Bike MS takes cyclists on a two-day journey through the ancestral lands of the Coeur d’Alene nation in the Idaho panhandle on a rails-to-trails path almost completely off roadways. Full meals, amenities, landscapes, fully stocked rest stops and spirited festivities are all included. A $75 registration fee and a minimum of $250 in fundraising are required to participate. Funds support research, programs and services for nearly 15,000 people living with multiple sclerosis across the Northwest.
