Four Corners: Washington State Cougars
Coming up: Tonight vs. Utah, 8 (ESPNU), Saturday vs. Colorado, 3:30 (Pac-12)
Outlook: Washington State will try to send its seniors out in style during the final homestand of their careers. But picking up a win or two will be no small challenge for the Cougars, who lost their first matchups against the Utes and Buffs by 22 and 32 points, respectively. While a conference championship is likely out of reach, if not mathematically so, the Utes need to keep winning to secure a top-four seed in the NCAA tournament. With a win over CU, the Cougars would improve at least one spot in the conference standings, giving them an easier first-round matchup in the conference tournament.
