The Washington high school basketball quarterfinals were held Thursday in Tacoma, Yakima and Spokane. Defending 4A girls state champion Gonzaga Prep began its defense with a win over Bothell in Tacoma, the Lakeside girls knocked off defending A champion Lynden Christian in Yakima and, in Spokane, the perennial power Colfax girls were stunned by White Swan.
