Obituary: Thompson, Ursula Madonna
Age 55
She was born to Ralph and Donna Nolte on March 1, 1960, in Spokane, Washington.
Ursula married Bob Thompson on January 21, 1984, in Spokane.
Ursula, a 13-year resident of Olympia, worked as an educational aide in the Tumwater School District.
Prior to settling in Olympia, she lived in Rainier, Washington, and Medical Lake, Washington.
Ursula loved hosting parties and entertaining with family and friends.
She loved her dogs.
She enjoyed crafts, tole painting, camping, baking, beading, dancing, flowers, and most importantly her family.
Ursula was preceded in death by her father, Ralph E. Nolte; nephew, Rhian J. Burch; and brother-in-law, Drew Thompson.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Thompson; and two sons, Cody Thompson and Austin Thompson, of Olympia, Washington.
She is also survived by her mother, Donna C. Nolte; brother, Randy Nolte (Gina) of Spokane, WA; brother-in-law, Ken Thompson; sisters, Monica (Doug) Burch of Minneapolis, MN, Enola (Guy) Kaplan of Medical Lake, WA, Debra Waters of Medical Lake, WA, Pam (Mark) Kelly of Spokane, WA, Tammy (Bryan) Yarbrough of Tyler, WA, Andrea (Bob) Silvieus of Cheney, WA; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Thompson and Anne Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ursula’s honor to any local Alzheimer’s association.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on March 14, 2015, at the Scott Lake Community Center, 2631 114th Way SW, Olympia, WA 98512.
