Obituary: Joy, Robert L. “Bob”

JOY, Robert L. “Bob” (Age 75) Departed this life on Monday, March 10, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital after a brief illness.

Bob was born on May 24, 1939 to Clarence and Marcella Joy.

He was preceded in death by daughter Teresa and survived by a large family including brothers Bill and Ron, son Jerry, daughters Kathy, Sue, Tam and Kim, nine grandchildren and ten great-grand- children.

Bob went to St. Patrick’s and Rogers High School.

He was a dedicated son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Bob found joy in his family, classic cars, sports and, of course, tinkering.

He was a member of the Lumber and Saw Mill Workers, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and also a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America for 25 years.

Bob left behind a legacy of kindness and unconditional love that will live on through his family and friends.

He will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.
