Obituary: Gamalielson, Arlene (Monger)

GAMALIELSON, Arlene (Monger) Passed away March 12, 2015 at Guardian Angel Homes.

She is survived by her sister, Deloris Monger Christopher; sister-in-law Lynn Monger; daughter Marie Hamilton; sons John Gamalielson, Tom Gamalielson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Gamalielson, her parents, Tony and Esther Monger, brother Roger Monger and stepson Pete Gamalielson.

She was born and raised in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

She graduated from high school in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 1960.

One of her proudest accomplishments was touring Europe and South America.

While she was in South America she was getting letters from Bob Gamalielson (love letters, that is) and he asked her to marry him when she returned to Seattle.

When they married she inherited four children, then ages five to twelve - it was a job she loved.

We want to thank the Liberty Lake Guardian Angel Homes for the love and wonderful care the staff gave Arlene during her almost five-year stay.

At her request there will be no service.
