ALLEN, Helen H. (Age 84) Helen passed away May 9th at Riverview Care Center, She was born in Spokane, WA.

April 16, 1931.

Helen graduated from West Valley High School in 1951, after which she went to work for Pacific NW Bell, Broadway office as a telephone operator and later transferring to the long distance office on West 2nd Avenue until retiring in 1983.

Helen was a life member of Telephone Co.

Pioneers, and volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital on the switchboard.

She also worked at Scollard’s Cleaners and Jones Drug Store.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents W.O.

and Peg Allen.

She is survived by her brother Joe B.

(Kathi) Allen of Bellingham, WA, nephew Jaimee Allen of Boise, ID; niece Kelea (Sterling) Fields and family of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Cousin Lucile (Pat) Keogh and family of Spokane, WA.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, May 24th.

1 o’clock at Plants Ferry Park in Spokane Valley.

The family would like to thank all the care givers at Riverview Care Center for the wonderful love and caring shown to Helen.
