Obituary: Wenzell, Edward P. “Ed”
Age 74
He was born in Boston, MA to William Stanislas Wenzell and Florence Mary Wenzell on November 17, 1941 the next to the last of four brothers and five sisters, all but one now deceased.
He had numerous surviving nieces, nephews and families.
He finally met ‘the love of his life’, Darlene Rae Wenzell in 1970.
They were married for 44 years and had their son Edward Paul Wenzell, who married Jessica Wiley Wenzell in 2000; who had his grandchildren: Andrew Leland Wenzell and Lauren Clare Wenzell.
Second to his family, Ed loved fishing.
He was labeled ‘Catfish King of Southern California,’ for three years running.
He would say, ‘if there were no rainbow trout in Heaven he wasn’t going’.
He will be cremated by the Neptune Society.
Memorial services will be held at the Woodland Cemetery in Deer Park at a later date.
