Obituary: Martin, Garry Wallace
Age 69
He was born on January 25, 1946 in Spokane, WA to Wallace H. Martin and Evelyn V. Martin.
Garry graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1964 and attended Eastern Washington State College (now Eastern Washington University) after high school.
From 1965 to 1970, he served in the U.S. Navy as an EM2.
Prior to active duty, Garry began his career with Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor.
He continued to work for the railroad for over 20 years thereafter.
He enjoyed many hobbies that included music, cars, sports, hi-fi electronics, model airplanes and trains.
A kind soul with a great sense of humor, Garry always identified himself as a ‘Pepper’.
Garry is survived by his loving wife Patti; daughter, Stacy Wood; and his granddaughter, Emma Wood.
He was predeceased by his sister, Charmaine E. Gaffaney.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 9th at 2:15 p.m. at Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA 99022.
