Deputies searching for Subway robber

Deputies are searching for the man who robbed the Subway at 2114 N. Pines Road in Spokane Valley Thursday morning.

The man entered the restaurant just after 10 a.m., used the bathroom and then left. He returned a few minutes later and demanded money from an employee while showing a gun, according to a Spokane County Sheriff’s Office press release.

The man is described as a white man about 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing about 150 pounds. He had acne scarring on his face. He drove away in a white 4-door car with dark molding on the side.
