Obituary: Robinson, Charles A.

ROBINSON, Charles A. Charles A. Robinson was born March 30th, 1931 to Oran and Rose Robinson.

He attended school in Reardan and graduated from high school in Oroville, WA.

He served in the Air Force in Texas at the time of his father’s death.

Charlie married Bonnie Hansel (McAvoy) 27 years ago.

He was a lifetime member of the VFW and very active in the YMCA.

He was previously married to Bonnie Gaustad and immediately became father to her two daughters.

Bonnie passed away in 1978.

He farmed the Charles Robinson homestead for over 20 years retiring from farming in 1993.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie at the home, daughters, Sonja and Barbara; step-daughters Susan and Sandra, and step-children Kathy and Robert.

Memorial service will be held for family and close friends at the VA Cemetery in Medical Lake at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 10th, followed by a gathering at Reardan Community Hall at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to Hospice House of Spokane or the M.S.

Society.
