Age 92

WORDEN, Alice M. (Age 92) Alice M. Worden, passed away October 6, 2015 in Lacey, WA.

She was born to Gustav and Christine Ellen (Christensen) Ottoson on February 12, 1923 in Buckeye, WA.

A resident of Spokane, WA for 91 years, Alice graduated from Montford Grade School and Mead High School with a perfect attendance record.

She married Nelson G. Worden on June 28, 1947 in Buckeye.

They enjoyed a 50-year marriage until his passing on January 18, 1998.

Right out of high school, Alice was a maid for the Porter Mansion in Spokane.

She then worked on military planes in Great Falls, MT, at Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company in Spokane, and was finally a homemaker.

She was a strong, determined, kind, loving, thoughtful woman who was loved by many.

She always tried to have fun and to be positive.

She enjoyed cross stitch, cooking, and helping others.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Linda M. Moe (Rocky Jurgens) of Lacey; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Donald Worden; baby daughter; son-in-law, Earl Moe; and brothers, Ernst Ottoson and Carl Ottoson.

There will be a private family gathering.
