Obituary: Carr, Norris
Age 92
He was born August 12, 1923 in Camas, Montana, the youngest of six.
He was raised on a farm there, and graduated from Hot Springs High School.
He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
He served six years in the Navy as an aircraft engine mechanic, much of that time in Hawaii.
After the service he worked at Kaiser Aluminum for 35 years.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Dorothy, and they were together 49 years.
They built a home together and raised three children, Joyce (deceased), Larry, and Dolores.
They had eight grand- children: Shaun, Bryan, Tracie, Jody, Jenni, Sami, Anna, and Adam, plus eleven great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed RV travel, bluegrass and fiddler festivals, rodeos, bull riding, playing cards, and the dances.
He was a kind and gentle man who could fix anything.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank those at Sullivan Park for their kindness.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 12th at 10:30 AM at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake.
