NW Christian wins championship again

For the second time in its history, Northwest Christian Schools has won the WIAA-Washington Army National Guard Scholastic Cup 2B Championship for 2014-15, which is awarded to schools that excel in academics, sportsmanship and competitive achievement.

Northwest Christian had four academic state championships in the 2014-15 school year: fall cheerleaders, football, boys basketball and girls golf. The school also had two second place athletic finishes in boys cross-country and girls golf and a second place academic finish in girls basketball.

WIAA Assistant Executive Director John Miller presented Northwest Christian with the award Oct. 16 before the school’s homecoming game.
