Disney on Ice: “Frozen”

The tale of two sisters, one with a magic touch, comes to the ice. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf will lace up their skates and perform to the already beloved songs “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” “Fixer Upper” and (of course) “Let It Go.”

When: Opens Wednesday and continues through Nov. 8; shows at 8 p.m. Wednesday-Nov. 6; 11:30 a.m., 3:30 and 7 p.m. Nov. 7; and 1 and 5 p.m. Nov. 8.

Symphonic Films at the Fox: “Nosferatu”

F.W. Murnau’s cinematic masterpiece is a 1922 silent (and unauthorized) adaptation of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” starring Max Schrek as the vampire Count Orlok. The Spokane Symphony, under the direction of resident conductor Morihiko Nakahara, will perform a musical score as the film plays on the big screen. And because it’s a vampire film on Halloween, there will be organ music.

Warren Miller’s “Chasing Shadows

The newest installment celebrates the 66 years of mountain culture and adventure filmmaking for Warren Miller. Follow the world’s biggest names in skiing and snowboarding, including JT Holmes, Seth Wescott, Caroline Gleich, Steven Nyman, and Marcus Caston, on a cinematic journey as they push toward the edge, where the mountain’s shadow cast below is all that leads the way.

“Shaping Sound”

National Geographic Live: The Search for Life Beyond Earth
