SALSBY, Sandra Lee
(Age 75)

Sandra Lee Salsby, died peacefully on March 26, 2016 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA, after a brief struggle with intestinal problems.

Sandra was born February 11, 1941, in Spokane, WA, the daughter of Lee Roy and Evelyn H. Bilyeu.
Sandra thoroughly enjoyed her role as the wife of a soldier, and was active in the Army Community Services.

She impacted the lives of numerous people, and was awarded a service medal for her diligent work in the military community, by General Colin Powel.


In 1966, Sandra married the love of her life 1SGT Byron Kent Salsby, and began their journey around the world.
In addition to raising their two children, Sandra and Byron also raised two grandchildren.

She had a passion and dedication to her family that left a profound impression on each of their lives.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Byron K. Salsby; and sons: Kris L. Salsby of Newburgh, NY, and Kent E. Salsby of Salem, OR; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
There will be a private graveside service for immediate family members held in Oregon.
