Spark Center hosting suicide-prevention workshop
Spark Center is hosting a suicide prevention workshop at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
“Your Role in Suicide Prevention: Helping a Peer in Need” is a free program that trains youth about how to talk with and support friends at risk.
The workshop will discuss stress and its effects on the body, symptoms of depression, how to identify and intervene with peers at risk, and why getting adults involved is important.
