Donna Margaret Davis went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on April 4, 2016, at the age of 76.
Donna Margaret Ruetsch was born in Spokane, Washington on April 20, 1939 to parents Fred C. Ruetsch and Margaret E. Neville.
She attended Rogers High School where she met her lifelong sweetheart of almost 56 years John Davis, whom she married and raised four children with.
She spent most of her life in Spokane where she worked at the YWCA for 30 years teaching handicap swimming and senior exercise classes.
She loved art and enjoyed painting, coloring, sewing, and cross stitch.
She also loved animals, especially cats and horses.
She is preceded in death by her husband John, children Debra, Clint, Daniel, and daughter-in-law Nancy.
She is survived by her daughter Colleen Auble, son-in-law Steve Auble; daughter-in-law Kathy Davis; Chuck Ashley; her nine grandchildren and their spouses; not to forget the 15 great-grandchildren whom she loved very much.
Thank you to all the staff at River Mountain Village, Newport Hospital and Long Term Care for taking such wonderful care of her and all the support given to Donna in her final weeks.
Services will be held at Spokane Memorial Gardens on April 29, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.
