March 16th, 2016 We all lost a beautiful soul.

Joyce Montgomery passed away at age of 62 from sudden heart complications.

She was a Wife, Mother, Grand- mother,Great-Grandma, Aunt and friend to many.

Born Joyce Allena Hayes September 14th, 1953 to Robert and Donna Hayes in Spokane WA.

Joyce was the oldest of five children, sisters Nancy Tedrow, and Kathy Hauff, brothers Pat Hayes and Mike Hayes (deceased).

Joyce graduated from Rogers High School.

She married Jerry Brooks and had two sons Scott and Terry.

Joyce remarried JR Montgomery March 17th, 1993 and was happily married 23 years.

Joyce worked in jewelry retail and recently in the health care field.

She loved spending time with family and friends and weekends up at Waitts lake.

Joyce also loved her extended motorcycle family and life on the road to numerous locations.

She loved life and brightened up the lives of anyone who came across her path.

Joyce is survived by husband JR (Leroy) Montgomery, sons Scott and Terry Brooks; stepsons Chris Montgomery and Matt Montgomery; daughters-in-law Heather Brooks, Anna Martin, Laura Montgomery; grandchildren, Allison Crick, Kelsie Brooks, Tristan Brooks, Elizabeth Brooks, Caden Brooks, Lucas Montgomery, Victoria Montgomery, Roxie Montgomery, Hudson Montgomery; great-grandchild Jaxon Crick.

Joyce will be remembered in hearts and minds by many.

A celebration of life will be held for Joyce on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 from 1-3pm at the South Hill Senior Center, 3151 E. 2th Ave, Spokane, WA 99223.
