Free vaccine clinics offered

To recognize August as National Immunization Awareness Month, Spokane Regional Health District will host a free immunization clinic at Riverside Elementary School, 3802 E. Deer Park Milan Road, Monday from 4-7 p.m.

The clinic will serve children ages 2 and older and students from all schools and districts. A limited amount of adult vaccines for uninsured or underinsured will be available.

A free immunization clinic also will be held at Greenacres Middle School, 17409 E. Sprague Ave., Wednesday from 2-5 p.m., hosted by Central Valley School District and Rockwood Health System.

Vaccines will be available for children ages 4-18 from all school districts.

The flu vaccine will not be offered at either clinic.
