Sandpoint man walking on tracks killed by train

A Sandpoint man was struck by a train and killed Monday evening about 12 miles north of Sandpoint.
Adam Ferris, 23, was walking on railway tracks along U.S. Highway 95 at the Samuels Road crossing when he was struck by a train, the Idaho State Police said Tuesday.
Alcohol may have been involved in the incident, police said. The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office.
