GSL Girls: Central Valley powers past Lewis and Clark

Hailey Christopher and Michaela Laabs combined for 15 points in a 23-point second quarter to help lead Central Valley (2-0, 2-0) over visiting Lewis and Clark (1-3, 1-1) 61-46 in Greater Spokane League action on Tuesday night.

Christopher finished with 16 points while Laabs had nine. Lexie and Lacey Hull added 10 and 14 poitns, respectively.

Jacita Buckley led the Tigers with 17 points.

Mt. Spokane 82, Rogers 34: Aspyn Adams scored 24 points and the visiting Wildcats routed the Pirates.

Jaidyn Lyman added 15 points, Emily Nelson had 13, Sammier Maher added 11 and Miahna Waters chipped in with 10 for Mt. Spokane.

Rogers was led by Atyzha Upton with 14 points.

Mead 61, Ferris 24: Aaliyah Pauling scored 15 points and the Panthers handled the visiting Saxons.

Mead raced out to an 18-4 lead after the first quarter and cruised. Brook Goodwin led Ferris with nine points.

University 63, North Central 48: Ellie Boni had 14 points to help the visiting Titans beat the Indians.

North Central kept it close but could not overcome University’s nine 3-pointers. Claire Dingus added 13 points for U-Hi.

Kieana Bigsmoke and Sativa Rogers had 14 points apiece to lead North Central and Sunny Ellenwood had 10.

Gonzaga Prep 77, Shadle Park 27: Molly McDermott scored 27 points to lead the visiting Bullpups over the Highlanders.

Olivia Mayer added 19 points for G-Prep.

Shyl’a Mason topped Shadle Park with nine points.
