2. Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Mary Iverson 11:30 a.m. Friday, Spokane Falls Community College, Music Auditorium, Building 15, 3410 W Fort George Wright Drive. Seattle artist Mary Iverson is a painter and creator of public art. Her work delves into the juxtaposition of landscapes with structural disorder. She has shown internationally and is a tenured professor at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon. 3. UI World Music Celebration Concert 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, University of Idaho, Lionel Hampton School of Music, Haddock Performance Hall, 1010 Blake Ave., Moscow. This year’s celebration centers on traditional Chinese and Nepali music with five visiting musicians from the South China University of Technology and from Nepal. These masters of traditional Chinese and Nepali instruments will perform, as will the LHSOM Jazz Band I, Jazz Choir I, World Beat Ensemble and Flute Ensemble.
