Box Office Top 10: Reynolds’ ‘Deadpool’ marks historic debut

LOS ANGELES – Superhero movies don’t have to be PG-13 to get superhero-sized returns. “Deadpool’s” historic debut proved that and then some.

Ryan Reynold’s foul-mouthed, fourth-wall busting character pulled in a massive $132.4 million in its first weekend in theaters, making “Deadpool” the highest ever opening for an R-rated film and for Fox.
