Obituary: Eneas, Michael Shawn
Age 47
He took his time coming into this world but left us in a flash on February 19th, 2016.
He was born September 10th, 1968 in Polson MT, the youngest of three brothers and a proud member of the Salish Kootenai tribes of Mountana.
He grew up in Northern California and graduated from Armijo High in Fairfield CA.
He attended Arizona Tech in Phoenix for a short time.
Shawn worked various jobs including Napa Pipe.
He was into renovating homes and landscaping (which he really enjoyed) before moving to Spokane.
He then enrolled at the Salish Kootenai College in Pablo MT for a year, receiving a diploma as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
At the time of his passing he was employed by Kaiser Aluminum at Trentwood for close to 10 years.
Shawn was very outgoing, made friends easily and had a love for animals.
Shawn also had a lot of interests.
He had a passion for air shows and loved airplanes and building models; also rock concerts, football - especially the Oakland Raiders, baseball - the Oakland A’s, basketball (Zags) and hockey games.
He enjoyed reading autobiographies and real life crime stories.
He leaves behind his daughter Krystin Rose, parents Bernie and Grace Eneas, brothers Rob and Joe, his grandmother Elizabeth Gravelle and numerous aunts, uncles and cousin and his dog, J.B.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Modeste Eneas, grandfather Nick Gravelle, several uncles and an aunt.
A private viewing is planned on Tuesday, February 23rd, from 3-5pm, at Spokane Cremation, 2832 N. Ruby, in Spokane.
A memorial will be held later in the year.
Donations may be made in his name to the Humane Society, American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Fund.
