Facebook post brings police

The Liberty Lake Police Department received an unusual call for assistance recently when a woman called to report that one of her family members had made a Facebook post saying her infant was not breathing.

Police responded to the family member’s last known address in Liberty Lake only to find that the woman had moved, said police Chief Brian Asmus. The woman now lives in Spokane Valley and police there responded to her home and found the infant breathing normally.

The child was taken to a local hospital for an examination as a precaution, Asmus said.
