Four Corners: Sanders, Callandret both expected to start

Sean Kramer Correspondent

Coming up: Saturday vs. Eastern Washington, 1 p.m.

Outlook: Victor Sanders and Perrion Callandret should start a home conference game together for the first time all season on Saturday with both back from injuries that held them out most of the Big Sky slate. Their return is well timed, as the Vandals look to secure a spot in the top four and a bye in the conference tournament. Idaho is currently sitting in fifth, with each of its next three opponents sitting in the top four. Idaho hasn’t beaten Eastern Washington since rejoining the Big Sky last season.

Idaho leaders

Scoring: Victor Sanders, 15.7 ppg

Rebounding: Nahshon George, 4.6 rpg

Assists: Chris Sarbaugh, 3.1 apg
